Photo review of my trip to Stockholm city and surroundings in Sweden.
[Travel Logs] Following my trip to Sweden, after taking the train from Uppsala, my next destination in the nordic country was Stockholm city.Stockholm is a mix between new and old architecture with no skycrappers or very high and tall buildings in the surroundings but if you go outside of the city you can find an Ikea store..
I went to do a visit to the house of the Kings of Sweden. They live in the Royal Palace which is at the same time a museum.
Ok, imperial guards are not like the ones you can find in London, but they are very commited.
Another very close museum (and one I highly recommend) is the Vasa Museum. The Vasa is a war ship from 17th century (not a viking ship) that sank after sailing not far from the port. It was lifted back and recovered after 300 years and now is in exhibition.
The ship reminds me the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
