Anime in Review #5

There were a lot of anime shows I saw during the current year and its time for me to express my thoughts and feelings about them. Feel free to comment and discuss about them too in the comment area. There are also links to image galleries ahead.

Let's start with...

 
Sword Art Online

My favorite show of the year! No doubt why I put it in first place in my review. I still dont know if the show has two seasons or is just one season with 2 different stories, but I was very surprised how the first part of the show abruptaly ended. Kirito and Asuna makes the best couple ever! and the clothes they used in the game were awesome.

Dog Days 1 & 2

At beginning I thought Dog Days was a show meant for little girls and silly but I totally like all the female characters (great design) and how sweet they were with Shinku (the only male character with a lot of luck). My favorite girl was Millhiore. I think her voice was pleasant and kawaii for me.

Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai

Sometimes we keep our crazy thoughts about life when we are at school and this show reminded me that.  I liked the show and I knew from the beginning that Rikka was going to fall in love with Yuuta. I also found hillarious the fights between Rikka, her sister and Sanae.

Bakemonogatari

Loved the show. It was funny and with a lot of characters. My favorite was Shinobu, a young but mute vampire girl and Hachikuji who was lost all the time misspelling Araragi's name on purpose.  Shinobu Oshino moe gallery here.

Another

Big deception for me. Good show, great theme and plot but bad develop and story telling. I dont want to spoil the show but dont you think Misaki could do more to prevent a lot of deaths if she just said who was the extra student from the beginning? why she was retaining it a lot? Ok, I just thought there will be more about her twisted eye and all the dolls in her house. Also there were a lot of side stories mentioned in the show but without a clear conection with the main story.

Fate/Zero

I liked Fate/Stay and I wanted more about Saber and this is exactly what I got with the show. Since is a prequel It helps you to understand more the events in Fate/Stay. I only dont see why the fight for the holy grail is again 10 years after the events of Fate/Zero but I liked the show. My favorite servant (besides Saber) was Rider.
