New 200 banknote recently in circulation over here, depicting famous music/marimba players. First time I have one of the new bills in my hands so I took a picture of it.
Our currency is named Quetzal and US$1 = 8 Quetzales. The 200 banknote will replace our large denomination banknote: the 100 bill.
What's the most large denomination banknotes used in your country?
Too bad this banknote didnt last much time in my hands.

The highest denomination banknote currently in Malaysia is 100RM. We used to have 1000RM. But that was many, many years ago when I was still a kid.
In Germany, and many other european countries, the highest banknote is 500€. But they arent used often, also some shops/gas stations dont even accept them.
Before the currency union the biggest note was 1000 DM (Deutsche Mark).
Now that's some cool looking currency. I'm not sure what the biggest note here is, the biggest I've ever seen that was real is 100 USD. Our money is boring and has Presidents on it, Marimba players is much cooler.
