Yesterday I went to the "Festival Latinoamericano de Instalacion de Software Libre - Flisol" (Latin American Free Software install fest) the biggest event for spreading Free Software (Software libre) un the Latin American region and the Guatemala section held the event in the TIC's center at Intecap, a popular training center from here.
Here is a view of the Intecap's building facilities. It is brand new with reasonable good computers and security. First time for me to visit this place. The place still lacks free wireless internet and a lounge area, both would be nice add-ons in my opinion.
Event registration area. Service was acceptable.
Good friend and blogger @romerogt in his talk about Ubuntu guided (and easy) installation. Didnt had the chance to say Hi and chat with him in the event.
Some expositors interviews and recordings.
Twitter friend @arigalt in the QT4 talk. I guess he didnt recognize me. Really cool the T-shirt he and all the event volunteers was wearing.
The rest of the pics from the event. I was taking pics in the morning so badly I dont have pics for the afternoon talks. Do you recognize yourself? Drop me a coment line or add me a note in Flickr. (Click in the image to full size)
Installation area - Bring your PC to us and we install ubuntu at no charge. Cute girlies where around. ^^
