As part of a marketing strategy by Microsoft Japan to appeal to ‘otakus’ and the use of Windows 7 and Bing search engine there are 10 new character themes ready for download in here.
The campaign intends to introduce new characters as they previously did with Madobe Nanami OSTAN for Windows 7. The new characters are: Nanae, Nana, Nanako, Nanao and other Nanami. As you can notice, all of them start with Nana (seven) name. ^_^
The download is available as a themepack for Win7 users but users of XP and Vista can use it as well but it is required to install the theme manually (Zip file).
The themepack includes character wallpapers and theme sounds for a lot of Windows events.
My favorite characters are Nana and Nanako.

After downloading the themes I got trolled by Microsoft...
I was truly enraged after discovering that Win7 Home Basic (the one that included my laptop) can't use themes, so I couldn't use these and now I'm aware that I'm stuck with the default theme.
Now I'll have to wait 'till I can buy a better version of Win7 to try these :S
