Google tan for Google OSAccording to the official Google Blog, Google will release an entire operative system in the near future, called Chrome OS.
It will be open source (a great benefit is you ask me), and the key aspects will be speed, simplicity and secure as most OS promise to be.
I think that exactly is the next logical step for such corporation. I mean, they started as a web search, moved into web browser and web applications and now OS. I guess, Chrome OS, will be an interesting OS and it seems promising. I hope this new OS to be well received in the community specially as another alternative to Linux and Windows. I mean, Chrome as a web browser is still in early stages and its not as popular as others in the web market.
Do you think Mozilla foundation will be releasing in the future an OS too?? I think it would be great if they make a Firefox OS.

Sounds like a good thing to me, but the problem is how many programs/games etc will support it. It seems that most people want to stay in the age of windows XP forever.
Hmm Im Tempted to see this chrome 0S. Unfortunately Im one of those cavemen who will be forever stuck with Windows XP

It's a pretty crazy move from Google, i suppose. But that's Google for you, more and more surprise from them.
It was only matter of time to google start developing an OS...
