Now back to my job duties, it has been a loooong week. First of all, Im almost under a pile of workpapers and second my boss is quitting in the job, and at begining it was a shocking notice. There is a big uncertainty in the office on who will replace her.
My boss is a very good friend of mine and she gave me all her support (with all my abilities) all this nearly 4 years that Im in the organization.
In my previous jobs, usually I was the quitter. I mean, I keep up in the jobs for only a month or so, and this one its where I have stayed for a long time. She quit because she have a better job opportunity and I think its a fine reason.
My boss did to me the job interview and I met her since then. I think Im gonna miss her. Everything will be different in the job from now on. I hope to stay in contact with she as a friend.
This event reminds me a quote aplicable in the job:
Don't be irreplaceable, if you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.

i have worked for many different bosses who came and go. the position of my boss is hard to do. the first one was very good, a lady. too bad she quit due to office politics. sigh...
what a great quote. hahaha
oh man...hope all will be okay for you.
this made me to think, what should I do if my current boss leaves. I guess I will probably leave as well.
