Career oportunities

Recently in my job published in the electronic job offering system , the opening of new career oportunities for IT personal where internal personel might apply.

Nos, speaking with coworkers in the department that I belong (Im not involved entirely in the IT department), a lot of people internally sent their CV to apply in the process but i didnt.

I didnt in first place, because a lot of my friends are applying and if I apply I will become in another candidate and an oppositor to them (and I dont want to confront them), and second I think im waiting for a better oportunity in IT.

I think i dont take too seriously this oportunity in my job, but friendship its more important this time. My friends (the ones who are applying) have high expectations of getting the promotion although the person more capable would be me (because Im certified and all that stuff).

I would love to change my current position and be moved to the IT staff (where I think I belong most) and being a Systems Engineer will help me a lot, because my profession is very demanded.

My dream job would be working for Google in any position in the IT department so if you are actually working in there, would you mind to help me a little bit in being a step closer??
