Lending money to friends

Im not good lending money to friends or family. In fact, i dont like to lend money to my close friends. I like to keep business and friends separated because money might harm a good friendship or a family relationship, well thats what i think.

It doesnt mean i never lend money. I do it but in minor quantities (thinking in short terms) and time to time (not too much), but when things goes more complicated than that, I think twice.

I did this post because some friends are beginning a new bussines and they ask me for some money, but i kind of refuse to lending the money to them. I didnt say no, but it was almost as if I did.

I dont want want to ruin the friendship (if any) and thats why i did what i did. Anyway, Im not good lending money to other people. Its like falling down the chair.
