My Bing experience

At the moment Bing its at Beta.

Bing, is the new search engine from Microsoft that finds and organizes the answers you need so you can make faster, more informed decisions, well, thats the headline you can find in Bing's website.

Now Bing is in Beta status and for a good reason. I've been trying a little bit this new search engine and I consider it has some good key points to observe but as far as an accurate search engine should be I think it needs more work. Have you tried Bing for yourself?

I have been testing to do some query searches but, at the moment, the query results werent the ones I desired or expected to find. The opposite happened with Google search engine. For example, when I look for the website moe.imouto Bing results were more oriented to moe topics and not the site address I was looking for (I think its fixed now). Almost the same thing happened with other query searches, but not with all the querys. I think I was more disappointed when I looked for animoe.net and the website wasnt in the results first page considering my previous milestone in Google search result, but that query searh was in Bing Beta early time.

But not everything is as bad as it seems. One good point I liked it was the image and video search option. In this case, you can find the results panel in a vertical strip format and if you click over an image, you are redirected with the website containing the image but in a framed page, having the left panel with a view of the other image results.

And in the case of the video search engine, you have the option to watch the preview of the video before clicking in the source website of the video.

As a final comment, I think Bing takes all the good of Google search page ideas but its a new contender in the search engines market. At least I think Bing its much better and clean than its precessor Windows live search. I think Bing has some other interesting features I missed. Could you share your Bing experience with us??
